Rhabdophis himalayanusTwo individuals, clinic one juvenile and one sub-adult were found on a forest track on the fringes of Siro, dosage adjoining the Sanctuary. Locals claimed that this species was very common, order along with another species that they identified from pictures as Rhabdophis subminiatus (Red-necked keelback). Both these species are believed to have potentially harmful venoms. We did not find any R. subminiatus during our survey.
