Over seven days of sampling, we found eight species of snakes, two lizards and ten amphibians. Due to a lack of published data about the area, our research involved relying on local information as well as casual searches concentrating on likely habitats.
While conducting searches in the Talle Valley range, we sighted what is most likely a golden cat (Pardofelis temminckii). Unfortunately, the brevity of the sighting does not allow us to be certain about it.
