Expedition North-east Himalayas

Here’s a quick video compressing six weeks and six thousand kilometers of mountainous terrain into two minutes!

If you have a fast internet connection watch it on HD!

Believe it or not – most of the footage you see here was shot on the little hundred dollar Lumix DMZ5 point&shoot camera! It was mixed in with a bit of footage shot on the Canon 5DMark2. Chinmay who edited the piece had to match up the frame sizes of the two different cameras, but apart from that, it seemed to work fine :) The Lumix shots are a bit grainy though… but it was small and easy enough to use, keep on the dashboard, get splashed by water, etc. etc… and it’s still working.

The first few seconds in time lapse is simply gorgeous with the clouds seemingly at a reachable height!! Nice video, but more than a photograher you look like a rally driver in this video ;) &I think the video can also pass as an amazing ad for Scorpio Getaway!
6000 kms in 6 weeks??? No wonder there’s fuel scarcity! hehe

Heavy Duty Stuff… this video of yours is soooooo super cool… we don’t really get to see the tough side of all your beautiful pics & videos !! this one captures all the complexities of your “simple” life & work that it just blew me away !!

Video seems good but the music was terrible. Music was too loud and totally out of context. Himalayan scenery demands Indian/Oriental music not a loud mish-mash of aping the West. Too bad. I will not be watching this because the music will drown out the beauty. Thank you.
