Sandesh Kadur

Well-known wildlife photographer and documentary filmmaker, Sandesh uses the power of imagery to expose the need for conservation and encourages protection of our planet's natural resources. Based at Gorgas Science Foundation and The University of Texas at Brownsville/Texas Southmost College, he has worked on various subjects ranging from cloud forests and endangered sea turtles in Mexico to rainforests and King cobras in the Western Ghats of southern India. His documentary Sahyadris: Mountains of the Monsoon, earned worldwide acclaim and an array of prestigious international awards, while drawing attention to one of the world's top biodiversity hotspots. He is an associate member of the International League of Conservation Photographers as well as a member on the board of Filmmakers For Conservation. Through his work, Sandesh hopes to harness the power of nature education as a catalyst for long-term change. His goal is to inspire his audience to protect and appreciate what remains of our wilderness.

Srikanth GP

Srikanth is a keen wildlife enthusiast since years, having visited all sanctuaries throughout India and many overseas. Professional still and video photographer and bird watcher with a good knowledge of nature. Has co-produced with Sandesh Kadur a 45 minute nature documentary on the Western Ghats titled "Sahayadris - Mountains of the Monsoon", that has been successfully showcased worldwide and has won several accolades. Has also been instrumental in bringing out a book of the title - "Sahyadris - A Vanishing Heritage" authored by Sandesh Kadur and Kamal Bawa. Involved in wildlife studies at Nagarhole, Bandipur and Ranthambore. Equestrian and cross-country riding. Motorbiking, trekking and camping all over the Western Ghats. A founding member and director of an NGO - Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre at Bannerghatta.

Amoghavarsha

Wildlife photographer and Naturalist Amoghavarsha has travelled extensively throughout India, documenting the country's bio-diversity and helping conserve through his images. He has photographed the thick evergreens of Arunachal to the Barren landscapes of Ladakh to the western ghats in south India. Having worked as naturalist for a short stint, he loves telling stories about the natural world with his photographs. Hailing from a technology background and makes use of new media to help spread the message of conservation. He has also worked with many media organizations to carry out conservation messages. He conducts photoworkshops and expeditions from time to time and believes education is the first step in conservation.

Sangeetha Kadur

With a specialization in Painting from Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore, Sangeetha Kadur, started her career as a Freelance artist in 2005. She has various commissioned works, paintings and murals to her credit. Additionally, Sangeetha has been a part of various outdoor adventure programs for children and has also conducted many art workshops. Being an outdoors entusiast, her love for bird-watching, exploring the wild and travelling has grown with the years. Both her strongest passions, nature and art, come together in her exciting career of a wildlife artist. Currently, Sangeetha is working on a series of illustrations of Hummingbirds, for a book on the 'Hummingbirds of the World'.
